IndiGo has confirmed a compensation and refund payout exceeding ₹500 crore for passengers whose travel plans were heavily impacted by widespread flight cancellations and airport disruptions earlier this month.
The airline stated that travelers affected by last-minute cancellations and those who were left stranded at airports between December 3–5 will be covered under this initiative.

The move follows guidance from the airline’s Crisis Management Group, formed by IndiGo’s Board to oversee the response and recovery process.
